Desire's favorite fragrance Innovator of the week continues to feature Elizabeth
Taylor. Elizabeth Taylor has graced us for years with her sense of style,
beauty, and class. Her fragrances provide us with the same timeless, classic
sophistication. Even the young can be sophisticated wearing her scents. After
all, Diamonds really are a girl’s best friend, as is her diamonds fragrance
collection.

We try to use our blogs as a source of information,
education, and entertainment. So, whenever we have a little bit of historical
information, we love to share. Elizabeth Taylor had a love affair with
diamonds. Richard Burton's first big
purchase for his wife was the 33.19 carat Asscher-cut Krupp Diamond, which is
cut similarly to an emerald cut. Originally belonging to the Krupp estate, it
was given to Elizabeth Taylor in 1968 and was mounted on a ring.
Elizabeth wore the ring faithfully.
Richard Burton later acquired the Taj-Mahal – not the building
– but a flat heart shaped diamond with inscribed Arabic, surrounded by rubies
and diamonds and a yellow-gold necklace. Given for her 40th birthday, the
Taj-Mahal was an exquisite gift of rare beauty.

One of her best known pieces is the Taylor-Burton diamond, a
nearly 70 carat pear shaped diamond taken from the premier mine in South
Africa, a well known diamond mine for the highest ranking natural diamonds.
Although not the biggest gem in the mine, the Taylor-Burton diamond was
considered one of the best ranking diamonds of its time. It was later sold by
Taylor to raise money for a hospital in Botswana.

Launched by the design house of Elizabeth Taylor in 1993, diamonds & emeralds
perfume is classified as a sharp, flowery fragrance . This feminine scent possesses a blend of green
floral top notes with white rose, water lily and gardenia, with lower notes of
carnation and jasmine.
Diamonds & Emeralds perfume is a
great day time fragrance and super versatile. Wear it while you are out and
about, at the office, and to your children’s school functions. Each time I wear
this fragrance, it’s classic notes are easily recognizable by Liz fans and complimented.
When younger women smell this fabulous scent on me, they often want to know
where to get a bottle. It’s a testament to how a timeless fragrance continues
to re-invent itself.

with Diamonds &
Rubies perfume. This fabulous
perfume, diamonds & rubies is classified as a refined, oriental,
woody fragrance . This
feminine scent possesses a blend of lilac, rose, peach, orchid, amber and
vanilla. Opposite of Diamonds & Emeralds, It is recommended for evening
wear.

One of my favorite things about the Elizabeth Taylor Diamonds
perfume collection is the bottles. If you are like me, the bottle of my perfume
is as equally important as the fragrance. The diamond collection’s bottles are
sleek, simple, classy, and sophisticated. The ring around the top part of the bottles
gently displays faux diamonds adding the style and grace we all know as Liz
Taylor.
We could go on and on about diamonds
and Liz Taylor’s, love for them and we will in the days to come, But, we are
